Join us on the 22nd of May, to celebrate the wonderful town of Warwick and its community, by running the two most prestigious races of our four days in May (The Wigley Group Carnival Handicap Steeple Chase and the Feldon Dunsmore Carnival Handicap Hurdle)
Our race titles carry the names of famous people & horses associated with Warwick’s past.
- William Eborall – a local mason who was the first referenced clerk of the course at Warwick.
- Coronation – Winner of the 1841 Epsom Derby after winning the Warwick Trial Stakes. Warwick’s only Classic winner.
- Chandler - Winner of the 1848 Grand National after becoming famous for a legendary leap of 37 feet, clearing several fallers & Gog Brook during the Leamington Hunt Club Steeplechase in 1847.
